Chapter Six Tom I don’t want to leave for work without checking in on Mia, Mal and Jake. If Jake is going back to the city today and Mal will be off for band practise all day, I can’t not check in on them, to make sure everyone is okay, to make sure Mia will be okay on her own all day. She might need help with something, or Jake or Mal may need a ride to the bus stop or station, which are both on the way to my work for the day.
