If I ever see a vampire again – In. My. LIFE! – It will be too soon!
My vision was blurry from whatever they drugged me with, and my legs felt like jelly. Scratch that! My entire body felt like gelatin! My brain was woozy and even my wolf was acting like she was high on something. Nothing coherent came from her and I decided to block her out before she gave me a headache.
I looked up and noticed I was in some sort of cell. It was dark; the only light coming from a small window on a door on the other side of the wall. I tried to get up, but my body was still sluggish and weak.
Which was strange!
