“WHAT?!” Rita shrieked once I told her the news.
“Shh! Do you mind?” I hushed her, trying not to let the beaming smile on her face get to me. God, is that what I looked like when she and Michael got together? I rolled my eyes at her overflowing happiness, but it didn’t take long before a smile found its way to my lips as well. “It’s nothing big! I’m just going on a date with Levi.”
OK, so I wasn’t telling her the entire spam of “the news”. As I said, I wanted to be fired for a while and date before everyone found out about me and Levi being mates. And perhaps getting used to the idea of becoming the Luna too. And to make matters worse, an alpha didn’t usually mark his mate until she/he had completed their Luna training. AND had the approving signature of the Council.
