Dina’s POV
I stayed in the alpha’s arms even after my body had stopped trembling. Breathing in his scent seemed to calm my wolf as well as myself. And everything after that seemed like a dream. A very realistic, but an unfortunate nightmare. None of it made any sense. Those rogues. The run. The fight… All of that belonged in a movie.
Not my life!
What was going on? Why were they after me? How did they get here? What did they want? I didn't have an answer to any of those questions and a part of me wanted to just forget it had ever happened. Yet I couldn't. I had to tell the alpha everything so that he could protect the pack and make sure that nobody else would become a target. Although for some strange reason, I had a nagging feeling that they were after me specifically.
