If Craig didn't recognize Autumn from that incident, then he could easily do so from all of the news briefs and family photos that were plastered all over their local news when Maylee disappeared. Every detail about tonight's jog seemed a little different than the mornings. The men playing cards weren't quite as loud as usual, and the street even appeared to be emptier. To Autumn this was particularly odd. She expected the neighborhood to be quite a bit livelier, assuming that scary places came to life at night. She couldn't have been more wrong. She'd mentally prepared herself for chaos, but not for this. Not for the creepy silence that seemed to be swallowing her whole.
