Autumn returned from the kitchen with the same photograph Jeremy had knocked to the floor weeks before. Except it was now framed with fresh new cherry wood. She eagerly handed the picture over to Josie, and remained standing next to her. “This is my favorite picture of Maylee. It was taken on the beach by my condo. My mother snapped this picture the day before her stroke. It was one of the happiest days of my life.” “I don't think any of my family has ever loved me as much as you love her.” Josie said, staring at the picture.
