CHAPTER 6 CAROLINE SPOTTED THEM up ahead and shuddered at the questions they were waiting to ask. She saw TV vans in front of her house with paparazzi spilling out of her driveway. They had been there for hours, littering the leafy street. She had seen these interviews a thousand times in the guise of a shouting match, performed on the run.
