The aid stopped short when Al Downey boomed out, glaring at the FBI Director.
“My question, Tom. How is the Glyn girl connected with this can of worms?”
Smith watched Thomas Moffett gather his thoughts. His boss would make a good poker player. He had no answer to this question. Moffett briefly opened and shut a thin folder embossed with the Bureau seal.
“As far as the Bureau can establish, Miss Glyn and Rykov met for the first time early yesterday morning. There was no prior contact between the two and no clear connection. I brought with me special agent Carl Smith,” and Moffett paused
