Chapter 4: A New Beginning

**Czenia's POV**

After Zachie's confession , my world felt brighter. We spent the next months closer than ever.

Walks after class turned into dates, simple things like sharing ice cream or watching stars and movies.

He made me laugh with his silly stories and jokes, we shared our big ideas for the future.

Graduation came fast. We got our business degrees from Melxia Academy.

I hugged my friends and say goodbye, and promised to stay in touch.

But life pulled us in new ways. Zachie got a job at a big firm in the city. I started my own small project, helping local shops with marketing.

We texted every day, but distance made things hard.

One night, Zachie called me. "I miss you," he said.

I felt the same pull. "Me too. Let's make this work."

We did, for a while. Weekends together, plans for more. But dreams have twists.

Zachie worked long hours, and My project grew busy. Small fights started, about time, about change.

Then, one rainy day,

Zachie called me and said he needed space. "It's not you," he promised.

But it hurt. I know he didn't see me but I still nodded with a tears in my eyes.

Weeks turned to months. Calls stopped. I moved to a new apartment, buried myself in work. I told myself it was okay.

But at night, Zachie came back...in dreams!!. His laugh echoed, his smile warmed me. I woke up reaching for him, only to find empty air.

Was it real, or just my heart playing tricks? I smiled bitterly while tears are falling .
