Candice couldn't help but be a tiny bit afraid, after all she had seen Logan's shift and it had looked like it was out of a horror movie. Stephen had reassured her over and over again that he would be there right by her side to help her, lend his love and support but it did little to ease her anxiety over the days and as the hours dwindled.
She wondered how it felt to be a wolf. Stephen told her it was magical and how free he felt as he ran and hunted or played. Mint was his best friend he had told her, one that would be with him his entire life. Mint had puffed his chest out at that statement, preening like a peacock and majestically prancing around. Candice did agree that it was nice to have someone always there for you and having your back, she just didn't want to hunt in her wolf form
