Laurie hummed to herself in the kitchen as she made pancakes, Candice slurping down coffee as if her life depended on it. "You shouldn't drink so much coffee" Laurie chided.
Candice sighed "it's coffee or I kill everyone in sight. Which would you prefer?"
"Drink the coffee" Laurie said hurriedly, sliding across from Candice and handing her some pancakes.
"What's the occasion" Candice muffled, pancake already in her mouth.
Laurie's pancakes were to die for. She used vanilla bean and some other delicious ingredient that made what Candice declared pancake heaven.
