Candice woke up to the sun shining and the sounds of birds chirping. She stretched feeling amazingly refreshed and wasted no time showering and getting dressed..She fairly bounced out the door and bumped into what felt like a large rock hard wall, almost falling if someone's arms hadn't caught her.
"Sorry" the wall said sheepishly as Candice lifted her eyes to see.......Damon smiling hesitantly.
She felt a little sad at how nervous he seemed around her and anxious, aware that she had caused this with her temper. Whether she was right or in the wrong, Candice knew she needed to learn to control her rage a bit more.
She smiled at him as he looked taken aback but pleased.
