Mitch hightailed it out of New York before the US Open men’s final. Dimi being out of it took some of the wind out of the final’s sails for him. Plus, he didn’t want to see another Big Apple tabloid story about the “ungrateful Red” who refused to meet with his poor American mama.
“How dare they, Bow,” he was fuming back at Langley. “That miserable b***h. She and the husband send Dimi and his adoptive brother Alexey back to Russia, because Alexey’s autism was too much to handle. But now that he’s a big success, she’s ready to cash in on her connection.”
