Third Person's POV Zander strode forward with a dark expression, crossing the distance to the stairs in a few steps and pushing open the door to Sabrina's room. The air was thick with the bittersweet scent of red wine. His sharp sense of smell easily caught her pheromones—laced with a heavy, dead sense of decay and utter desolation. At a glance, he saw her sitting on the floor by the window. Two bottles of red wine sat at her feet, and she held a glass in her hand, taking aimless, mechanical sips. Professor Mason's words still echoed in his ears. He walked over, keeping his voice dangerously low. "Some things are already set in stone. No matter how much you vent your frustration, or even go so far as to ruin your own reputation just to rebel against me, it won't change the outcome."
