Becoming a Dyn

“What's your plan for the auction, boss?” Stan began as he steered the Lambo out of the godfather's mansion. “Any plans on how to get the money for the auction?” “That depends on whether you could do me a favour,” Ash replied from the back seat. “At your service boss,” Stan replied. “Firstly, I'd have to stop by my house.” “Your ex-wife's? You know, Boss, it's kind of belittling to say you own a property in such a low part of the city. You're a Dyn, boss. Act like it,” “But it was mine before Mabel forcefully took it from me.” “Then let her keep it, you are way better now.” Ash nodded. Stan was right. Mabel would live to regret why she ever treated him that way. “Good luck boss,” Stan nodded as Ash got out of the car and headed into Mabel's house. The door was unlocked, and Ash was already headed for the stairs when he bumped into Zara in her see-through nightgown. Immediately she saw him, she used her hands to cover the open parts of her gown. “What are you doing here, Ash?” Zara asked, feigning confidence. “This used to be my house newbie. Without further ado, fifty million dollars and I'll be out of your space.” Zara laughed out loud and Mabel paused in her tracks upstairs as she came out of the bathroom. “Why do you think we would give you a penny? Get lost, loser!” “I did not ask you for a dime, Zara. I'm here to speak to Mabel,” Ash replied, shoving Zara aside but she held his arm, stopping herself from hitting the ground. Irritated, Ash pulled back his hand from her grip and she landed on the flower counter, her back towards Ash as she held the counter firmly. “If you crave me that much, why don't you just tell your sister to drug me again?” She made to get up but Ash held her down, pressing her down against the counter. “But I'm much more interesting when I'm aware,” Ash said softly as he moved closer to her and began to massage her waist. Zara’s breath got heavier. “Ash… I'm still Mabel's stepsister and she wouldn't forgive you for this.” Ash spanked her and a moan escaped her lips. “But that's not what you said last night when you were my cowgirl.” “Ash!” Mabel's voice came from the stairs. “Welcome to the party, ex-wife.” Ash rose from Zara’s back, but his hand was still on her waist, “Too bad I don't hold grudges for a long while.” “Get your hands off my sister!” “But she seems to enjoy it” Ash leaned over to Zara “Don't you?” “Get off me!” she shook, but his grip barely made her wiggle. “What do you want, Ash?” Mabel asked, her jaws clenched. “Fifty million dollars, only,” he smiled. Mabel rolled her eyes. “And why should I give you that amount?” “Cause it's either the money or we go down into hell together,” he let go of Zara and stripped his shirt, revealing the fake TNT props he had asked Stan for. Thinking it was real, Mabel and Zara trembled, knees knocking against each other. “Hold on, Ash…” Mabel stammered, “But I have only forty million. Most of my family's wealth is in investments.” “You think I came here for some pity story?” Ash scoofed pulling the fake detonator from his pocket. “Mabel, you know I have nothing to lose, and I wouldn't hesitate to destroy the heirs of the Clarke family. “I'll make it up to fifty for you… Just spare us, Ash,” Zara added, eyes closed in fear for her life. “Go on then. I need the money now!” Both women dashed towards their phones and with Ash's supervision, they transferred the money to Ash. “How did it go boss?” Stan asked as they drove out of the estate. Ash smiled. “Exactly as planned.” “You're a true Dyn, boss,” “Stan… can we just cut the whole boss thing? You can call me Ash” “That's not how it's done in the mafia world, boss. The godfather would have my head on a platter if he ever hears me calling you that.” “So you call me Ash when the godfather isn't nearby.” Stan glanced at him. “That's an order, Stan.” Stan nodded. “So, the auction house?” “While you're dressed like that?” Ash glanced at his shirt. “Hell no, Uncle Ash. Dyn's boutiques are scattered all over the city and we're going to one of them.” “With this money? No way I'm spending it on those overly expensive suits.” “The stone of power, Ash. You didn't go through that pain for mere decoration.” Ash touched the earring, a warm smile across his lips. Power didn't feel heavy at all It fit.
