He glanced over at Chastain as he crossed the room and found his friend watching him, a knowing look on his face. Taylor flashed a wide, innocent smile back and made a swift exit, only letting his expression drop when he was by himself in the corridor. Why are they acting like that? They cannae possibly ken that Kim and I… He shook his head. Can they? Taylor pushed his concerns away. Right now, it didn’t matter what his friends thought they knew. Because Smith—annoyingly—was right. There wasn’t a minute to waste, since every one that passed increased the chances of this Russian oligarch and his goons finding out who Chastain was, what he’d been doing in their facility, and uncovering his link to Kim. And the minute they did that, they’d be banging on Chastain’s door—figuratively, at least
