What on earth is going on with everyone? Cherry is more b****y than normal. Daniel, well, he is just acting way too strangely. Normally, he is laid-back and chill. Nothing really ever stresses him out. With the exception of his parents. They are always hounding him, since he is the next Alpha. I practically live at his house. His parents, mainly his dad, Alpha Thomas, talks to him about rules and regulations, traditions, how an Alpha should act and rule his pack. They both, though, constantly asking him what kind of leader and Alpha he is going to be.
I am so glad I am not him. My parents are in the guard. I practically never see them. They are invariably on border patrol since all the packs have consistently fighting each other. I have been training to be a warrior, basically, since I was born. At Daniel's inauguration, me and our other best friend, Alex, will be named as Daniel's guards. As if he really needed guards. He is THE MOST skilled fighter out of all of us in training. No one can best him when we spar.
Daniel just took off on a run by himself. That is very unusual for him. He even snapped at Cherry! He never gets an attitude towards her. Something is definitely up with him. When he takes off on his own, that's how you can tell that something is really bothering him. I wonder how long he is going to be gone?

Winter's mate is Daniel?!?!? How could this be? Mother Moon must have a wicked sense of humor. And what's more? How could Daniel have rejected his true mate?? All for that w***e, Cherry? I'm just in awe at this whole damn situation. All of this is just so messed up. Her poor wolf must be completely heartbroken. But I tell you what. When she walked back to school and she saw Cherry and Daniel, the look that she gave them. It was almost terrifying. It was so frigid and determined.
When we got to the park, she told me about Daniel and what he had said to her. When my wolf heard what Daniel had said about making Winter disappear, she became most infuriated.
"What the hell does he mean by that??" she snarled.
"I don't know girl. But it really has me worried."
"We MUST protect her!" she whimpered.
Winter snapped us out of our little conversation.
"No. I am not kidding. And NO, I am not telling anyone, Kendra. I have a plan, but I NEED your help."
"What kind of plan could she possibly have?" my wolf asked curiously. Rolling my eyes internally, I respond to Winter.
"God, you are so stubborn! What is your ingenious plan and what can I do to help?"
I would do anything for this girl. She is my absolute best friend in the world. Even though I don't tell her that as much as I should. As Winter continues with her plan, I listen and agree to help. But also thinking about what more I can do to help her.
Aeric
My sister can be such a pain in the arse. I mean, who does she think she is? Talking to me like that? She really crossed a line. I walk towards the door with her sulking behind me. I want to see what this place has to offer. I gave Herrick the day off. I don't need anyone to suspect anything yet. We step into the garage. There is about 15 different types of vehicles parked in here. There are cars, trucks, SUV's, 4-wheelers, side-by-sides, and a few others. I grab the keys to a huge Dodge Cummins diesel, dark blue in color. I turn to my sister and see her rolling her eyes.
"What?" I snap at her.
"Nothing. Just figures that you pick the biggest f***ing vehicle in the whole damn garage."
"I just figured this is the type of vehicle people around here drive. Since we are in the mountains after all." I retort.
"And just what are we gonna tell people when they start asking who we are and why exactly are we here? Have you even thought about that, Aeric?" she asks as she turns directly towards me with a concerned yet questioning look on her face.
To be quite honest, I hadn't. She really is very smart. That is why I love my sister very dearly. She can be extremely annoying anat times, and sometimes very disrespectful. But I truly do love her.
"No Astrid. I actually had not thought about that. Do you have any ideas on it?"
"Is my dear brother, asking muah, for help? Has the whole world come to it's miserable end?" she says in a fake, shocked tone of voice.
"Ok smartass. Just help me come up with some kind of idea." I say with a slight smile on my face.
We climb up into the truck and pull out of the garage. We start going down the driveway, when we notice another driveway going off to the side. We look at each other and nod our heads in agreement. I turn down the other driveway. We drive through the woods for a bit, enjoying the scenery as we went. We came out of the woods to see several buildings. The main one is a big building. I assume it is the horse stable. There are about ten paddocks off the side of the building. There are several horses in each paddock, as well as numerous more inside the stable. As we look around, we see a couple of small houses and a few, what look like maybe strange or even workshop buildings. As we are sitting there looking around at everything in amazement, someone walks up to the truck and lightly knocks.
"Excuse me, my Prince. Is there anything I can do for you, sir?" says a young boy.
He doesn't look much older than maybe 14 years old. He must be a stable boy. But why isn't he in school? I roll my window down.
"Um.... Not necessarily. We just wanted to see what was down this driveway. How old are you?"
"I am 15, Your Highness."
"Why aren't you in school?!?" asks Astrid. A look of concern on her face.
"The school is right over there, my Princess." he points to small building off in the distance.
"Would you two like a tour of the grounds here?"
"Tomorrow.... What is your name son?" I ask the lad.
"Alaric, Your Highness."
"Well, Alaric, we will come tomorrow for a tour. Right now we have some errands to run in town."
As we drive away, Astrid and I wave to the boy. Things just keep getting more and more interesting around here. I wonder what the town is going to be like.
