We meet again

Aurora's POV:

The just-risen sun shone softly on the city streets, LA is a beautiful place to live.

I woke up with my head banging due to the excessive drinking Maria and I did last night.

crawling to the bathroom, I brushed my teeth and took my bath.

Maria you are such a sweet Little angel. I said after I saw a bowl of hangover soup on the table.

It took me a moment to realize I was late for work, jumping into my clothes, I took my keys and dash out of my apartment into my car and off to the office.

"why is the elevator running so slow when I'm this late", if the "witch"( my boss) finds out am doomed.

As the elevator opened, I froze

standing in the elevator is the ever handsome Luke, I zoned out ?

Miss are you coming, he said with a stern look on his face. I walked into the elevator and realized we were both heading to the same floor.

Do you work here? he asked still with a serious face.

Yes i am an administrator. that was all that was said and the silence continued till we got to the 8th floor.

The elevator opened and he walked passed me and I, gently behind him like a new bride.

I can see you and Aurora have already met,she will be your new Assistant.

She... Madam I wasn't informed of this I said looking confused.

I knew Luke has been appointed as our new Director but why on Earth will I be his Assistant, few minutes with him in the elevator and I already could not breathe, I can't imagine myself spending 24 hours with him.

The witch came closer and whispered in my ears I heard he has a temper and since you are late you are the best candidate. you think you were going to get off easily, she smirked and left.

Are you taking me my office or not? He said giving me the "I don't waste my time look."?
