The day ended quite calmly, nothing chaotic happened with Simmi like every day. She enjoyed it fully, with little the brats in the children’s ward and was still feeling fresh.
Children pulled the long faces when Simmi was getting off from her duty. They weren’t letting her go.
“Simmi, please don’t go.”
“Yes doctor, I loved it when you were here.”
Kids were yelling and nagging like this.
“Kids, calm down and be good, ok. My duty hours are over, now I have to go home. The new doctor will come to take care of you all, ok kiddos.” Simmi explained to them politely with a broad smile on her face.
“Then will you come again tomorrow?” Another kid asked.
“If they appoint me to your ward, I will be here for sure, otherwise I promise I will pay you all a visit.”
