Driving through the gates… I wasn’t expecting to see people everywhere. Joggers followed paved trails that disappeared into the forest. Children rode their bicycles down wide streets while parents walked beside them. Groups of teenagers laughed together outside cafés. Some people walked dogs. Others carried grocery bags toward beautiful modern homes. Cars passed us in both directions as though we had entered a small city instead of someone’s property.
