I must have been more exhausted than I realized because I didn’t even remember falling asleep until the constant pinging of text messages pulled me out of it. Groaning, I spoke to my room the way I usually did in my lonely state. “Whoever is trying to summon me has officially earned themselves a death wish… ugh.” Still half asleep, I reached for my phone. The second I picked it up… It slipped straight out of my hand and smacked me right in the face. “Ow!” I rubbed my lips that the phone had hit my teeth letting out a groan. “That hurt.” I sighed dramatically. “Well played, karma.” As I continued rubbing my face, my phone pinged again.
