I must have been more exhausted than I realized because I didn’t even remember falling asleep until the constant pinging of text messages pulled me out of it. Groaning, I spoke to my room the way I usually did in my lonely state. “Whoever is trying to summon me has officially earned themselves a death wish… ugh.” Still half asleep, I reached for my phone.
