Chapter 19: A Dark Path Unfolds Jason sat alone in his room, his frustration boiling inside him. The injustice of the situation weighed heavily on his shoulders, and no matter how much he tried to calm down, the anger remained, gnawing at him. He replayed the events from the principal's office over and over in his mind—his suspension, the humiliation, and the feeling of helplessness. It was all tied to the people who seemed to control everything: powerful families, corrupt individuals, and people who used their influence to manipulate others. Then, a thought struck him, cutting through his haze of anger. The book. The strange, magical book that had started everything. He had almost forgotten about it, buried deep within the cave by the school. Jason stood up, his eyes narrowing in determination. “It’s not just about revenge. It’s about power. Money. Control.” With that, he locked the door of his room, jumped out of his window, and headed toward the jungle behind the school, where the book lay hidden. He moved quickly, fueled by a renewed sense of purpose. When he reached the cave, the familiar figure of the bear greeted him, now awake and licking Jason playfully, lightening his mood. Jason patted the bear, allowing himself a brief moment of comfort before getting serious again. Jason dug out the book from the dirt, the worn leather cover glowing faintly in the moonlight. As he held it in his hands, a dangerous thought crossed his mind. He looked at the book, his fingers trembling slightly. "I want to kill them all," he muttered, not even realizing the depth of his own words. Immediately, the book began to glow, pulsing with a dark, ominous energy. Before Jason could react, he was suddenly transported back to the school—inside the principal’s office, where the events that had humiliated him began all over again. Abhi, Sophie’s father, and the principal were there, just as they had been in the original confrontation. Without thinking, Jason grabbed a pen from the table and, in a flash of rage, drove it into the principal’s throat. Blood sprayed across the desk as the man collapsed, gurgling in pain. Abhi’s father leaped forward to stop him, but Jason was faster. He killed him too, the pen slick with blood. The scene unfolded like a nightmare, but Jason didn’t feel in control of his actions. His body moved on its own, fueled by the book’s power and his own rage. Suddenly, everything reset. The room shifted, and Jason was standing in the principal’s office again. This time, he wasted no time. He grabbed the pen and stabbed Abhi, killing him instantly. Then, Sophie’s father. Each time, the loop reset, leaving Jason more desperate and confused. In every loop, the faces of the people Jason hated were there: Abhi, the principal, Sophie’s father. But Sophie was always there too, watching him, crying. "Jason, what are you doing?" she cried, her voice trembling with fear and confusion. Jason couldn’t answer. He didn’t understand it himself. It was the book, the loop—the madness of it all. He tried to stop, but each time the loop reset, he was compelled to continue the killings. Hundreds of loops, each time playing out slightly differently, but always ending in bloodshed. The only difference now was that Sophie’s mother had begun appearing in the loops, terrified and running for her life. Jason tried to stop killing her, tried to find a way out of the loop, but after countless repetitions, he finally broke down and killed her, too. When he finally broke free of the loop, Jason collapsed on the ground, the weight of what he had done crushing him. His mind was shattered, filled with the memories of killing Sophie, her family, and everyone who had crossed his path. Even though it had been part of the loop, it felt real. His emotions were raw, his soul torn apart by what he had been forced to do. Jason looked at the book in disgust, throwing it into the hole and burying it once again. "Why did you make me do this?" he whispered, his voice broken. He turned and ran back to his home, his mind a swirling storm of guilt and confusion. --- By the time Jason returned home, his mind was buzzing with a new plan. As he sat quietly, thinking over everything that had happened, his thoughts turned darker. The anger that had consumed him earlier began to fade, replaced by a cold determination. He knew what he had to do now. it already night and jason think about the time passed when he inside the book is he there for hours and here it's just 3 hr and then he lays down on the bed and think what he does all the image of what he did come again and again and suddenly his mind clicked and he saw a message in principal device and message is we need 2 girl at night. instantly think about that he run to cave and take out back and back to that scenerio. Jason found a device in the principal’s office that had been left behind during the loop. It was a phone. On it, he saw disturbing messages—hidden communications between powerful men and corrupt politicians, involving Sophie’s father and even Abhi’s father. They were talking about drugging girls from the school, using them for their own twisted purposes, and then covering it up. Jason stared at the phone in horror, the dark truth of the school’s corruption unraveling before his eyes. “This can’t be real,” Jason muttered to himself. But it was. The evidence was right there. Shaking with rage, Jason ran back to the cave to retrieve the book once again. It was now midnight, the darkness surrounding him as he dug it out. The book glowed faintly in the moonlight, and as soon as Jason touched it, it reacted. “I want to kill them all,” Jason repeated, the words coming out of his mouth before he could stop them. The book pulsed with dark energy, and once again, Jason found himself transported back to the school. --- This time, Jason didn’t hesitate. He walked through the school, killing the corrupt individuals without a second thought. But this time, Sophie was there, watching him, not scared but confused. “Jason, why are you doing this?” she asked, her voice filled with pain. Jason turned to her, his face twisted with frustration. “This isn’t real, Sophie. This is just a loop. Everything you see here is true, except for my interference.” Sophie didn’t understand, tears welling up in her eyes as she looked at him with a mixture of fear and disbelief. Jason tried to explain, tried to make her understand the darkness behind the school’s prestigious reputation. He showed her the phone, the disturbing messages and videos of girls being exploited by powerful men—including Sophie’s father and Abhi’s father. Sophie’s hands shook as she looked at the screen, her world crumbling around her. “This can’t be true,” she whispered, her voice trembling. Jason’s heart ached as he saw the pain in her eyes. “I’m sorry, Sophie,” he said softly before he killed her. He didn’t want to, but the loop demanded it. --- When Jason finally broke free from the loop, he stood in the cave, broken and defeated. He buried the book once more, determined never to touch it again. The nightmare was over, but the damage it had done to his soul remained. --- The next morning, Jason sat at the breakfast table with his mother, his mind quiet and empty. He had nothing left. “I found another job,” he said quietly. His mother looked at him, concerned. “Jason, control your anger this time. Okay?” Jason nodded, forcing a small smile. “Okay, Mom. For sure.” But deep inside, Jason knew that something inside him had changed forever. --- End of Chapter 19
