Chapter 23: An Unusual Morning The sun rose gently over the city, filling the flat with a warm, golden glow. Jason was still asleep, sprawled out on his bed, enjoying the rare luxury of sleeping in. With no school to go to, and his mother and grandparents not wanting to disturb him, he slept peacefully, unaware of the time. The doorbell rang, cutting through the quiet flat.
