I smiled and squeezed her hand as we watched the boys do a bit of unsuccessful body surfing. We laughed and giggled at them, making total fools of themselves. I took the camera from my bag, and we walked down to the water’s edge to take photos of them fooling around.
When they saw us, they waved and tried to convince us to join them, but we said no and went back to lie on the towels in the sun.
About half an hour later they finally emerged from the sea, but much to our shock, they’d found an old kids’ bucket, which they’d filled with freezing cold water and proceeded to tip it all over us.
