Grace’s POV
“Hey,” I called out to Adam as soon as I got to where he was.
He was so engrossed in his phone that he didn’t see me walk in, I decided I will not get mad and give him another chance.
“Hi, Grace” he stood giving me the warmest of smiles “sorry, I didn’t see you enter. How are you?” he stretched his hand for a shake.
“And I am sorry for keeping you. I kind of got lost locating here. You know I recently moved here” I chuckled tucking a hair strand behind my ears and batting my eyelids demurely.
“No, it’s not a problem. Next time, I’ll pick you up from home” he smiled again.
“Oh!” I chuckled “you’re smooth, real smooth. Already asking for a second date at the beginning of the first”.
