Our gaze met and held until finally he tore his eyes away from me. How am I supposed to explain that last night was a mistake again. I had kissed a man twice, forgetting all of my training as a proper woman. Now, without shame I walked so freely about, do whatever there is that I do just to enjoy myself and identify with people that shares my idea.  Being an American teenager is like an ever-ending dreams of one self to the extent that your values are questioned and you're made to understand that life is ain't bed of roses.
