I stared in horror at the chart that displayed the naked picture of a woman. It felt like it was me on the chart with my body been x-rayed. I lowered my eyes in shame.
“This is the woman's body.” my aunt placed the pointer of the chart.
I nodded wordlessly, still ashamed to look at it.
“So, today, we’ll just learn a bit about yourself as a woman and important things you need to know about your body, Grace. You don’t need to be shy about it,” Aunt Harriet chided.
“Is it really important?” I questioned.
“Of course, it is, Grace. You’re gradually maturing into a woman and it’s important you know all these things. As much as I promote purity before marriage, it’s also important you know these things in case of eventuality”.
