"Are you asking me to leave?" I choked on words as I stared at Grace not believing the words she just told me.
"You can stay if you want, my Lord Duke," she threw over her shoulders as she disappeared out of view. I scoffed as I dropped onto the chair again trying to understand what just happened. I was worried sick when she did not reply to any of my texts or calls and had dropped everything I was doing to come to make sure she was ok, only for her to tell me to leave.
