“Good news class.” The AP Lit teacher walked into the class unannounced. This is one of my best classes.
“Forgive my manners, I am just so excited,” she clasped her hand to her chest. “First, good morning, students,” she greeted.
“So, I am just from Principal Reed’s office and he informed me that Mayor of New York is organizing a writing competition for Sophomore students and the winner stands a chance to go home with $10,000 and of course publicity including a visit to the white house and the two runner ups- that is both second and third position will get $5000 each whilst the rest that qualified in top ten will give consolation prizes ranging from MacBook, tablets, phones etc.” she clapped her hand in glee.
