Chapter 6 Tristan pulls up outside the front of the house in a bright blue 4x4, it looks like it’s never seen the light of day! I approach the car but Tristan jumps out and opens the passenger door for me our eyes meet and he responds “What my parents didn’t raise a asshole you know” jumping in I mutter a thank you to him. Tristan gets back in and programs the sat nav 30 minutes great! We drive towards our location in complete silence, my thoughts are running wild, I’m a wolf, I’m a monster, is it going to hurt and how on earth am I paying for this, and why did they have to have a party planned. Tristan breaks the silence “I guess the wolf is out the bag?” “What how do you know!?” I complain startled. “Well, I can hear your thoughts you know!” I glare at him,” I’m kidding I’m not that cool I can just sense how tense you are.” “Well let’s just say my whole life has been flipped upside down and now I have to go shopping with no money my life isn’t exactly going to plan!”. “Ah I can help with one of them concerns’ he says handing me a purse “open it it’s a early present from mum and dad” I peer inside a single card is in there with a note in what I guess is Pauline’s hand writing, buy anything you need at all and anything you want we don’t want this back or the money it is yours no limit at all, T noticed you didn’t have much and suggested this see it as your birthday present for your last 17 birthdays, we wish we found you sooner!’ tears stream down my face “I cant accept this!” Tristan pulls into the car park and throws the car in the first place he turns grasping my face in his hands, wiping my tears away. “Look at me you will accept this and us we love you and I am sure the rest of the pack will to, now take a deep breath” I do as he says and take a deep breath and look up at him his eyes look as warm as a fire full of passion how can they be that beautiful! “Ready?” he asks, and I nod. Stepping out of the car. We go into multiple shops, and he insists on me trying on everything. If I like it he takes from me and buys it knowing I’m reluctant to buy so much and would leave half of it in the changing room. After 2 clothes shops my eyes notice a bookstore with a coffee shop inside, I leave Tristan for dust heading straight through the door as a bell ring above my head. In search of some new books, of course I head to my favourite section fantasy. “Looking for some more Smut? Are we?” I spin faced with Tristan his eyebrows wiggling. “NO, I just like fantasy!” “Sure, he says handing me a basket and my purse “I will get us a coffee while you choose some books.” A few minutes pass he returns with our drinks finding me with a basket full of books. He cracks “I guess you really like books, I shouldn’t have left you alone” ashamed I go to start putting some back. He grabs my wrist “stop I was only playing you deserve them. Electricity runs through me from his touch and his demand. I nod heading towards the till. After the person fills two bags of books and I pay we leave Tristan places the 10 different bags back in the car while I sit on a bench my new book in one hand and the tastiest coffee in the other, it has a hint of maple and Carmel, heaven in a cup. “We need to go to one more shop we need to get you a dress for the party orders from mum” he shrugs sorry. Tristan takes my book and places it in the car protesting I stomp my feet “you can have it back after” I pout at him. “Come on cutie let’s get you a dress!” I follow Tristan as he walks towards the most expensive shop in the centre. The entire of the shop is spotless the walls and floor white. Tristan takes us straight to a changing room and explains to the member of staff what we need a blue dress in my size moments later she returns 10 different shades of blue and all different lengths. One instantly catches my eye a navy a line dress, the material embroidered with silver thread which made it glisten like the stars in the night sky. I slide into the dress which fits like a glove the top hugs the right areas and then flows out towards the bottom a slit up the left side. “Are you coming out?” Tristan asks. I nervously tug the curtain to the side looking at the floor I say, “don’t laugh please this one had my attention”. I look up walking towards him as the dress sways around me showing my figure more. “Woah wow, that’s definitely the one!” I smile happy with his response. I have enjoyed today it has helped with my revelation and I feel better in myself as I understand why everything is changing. I swiftly get changed while Tristan pays and then we head home. Exhausted I struggle to keep my eyes open while reading my book on the way back and drift asleep. I stir as gravel crunches underneath the wheels of the 4x4 a yawn escapes me as we park. The house is full of activity in preparation of the party. “morning sleeping beauty we are back! Head upstairs and I will bring it all up” sleepily I nod climbing the flights of stairs and settle down on my window seat. I hear 2 new voices approaching my room then a knock sounds. “Hello Tristan told us to bring this up” I open the door slowly to see two young men one blonde muscular man and a younger auburn hair one and Tristan following just behind them. I smile waving them in. “Thank you, boys,” Tristan growls and the pair scatter out the room. “What was that for?” Tristan rolls his eyes “Leo the blonde one and Archie are playboys they will do anything to get your attention or in your pants” he says while unpacking the bags of clothes and placing them in my wardrobe and draws. I giggle “I can handle myself you know no need to be protective!” I sigh unpacking my books and placing them on the bookshelf. By the time we have finished we have both flopped on my bed exhausted. Tristan’s phone buzzes “dinner is in 20 minutes he sighs, “time for you to meet some of the pack wear something nice” he smiles Leaving the room.
