EPILOGUE
Vik looked around the playground but it was too dark, even with his shifter eyes, to see into most of the shadows in the surrounding woods. The swings rocked, and the leaves rustled, but other
than that, nothing stirred. A shadow moved toward the street and Vik looked to find Orion
making his way across the parking lot. He stepped up on the curb and crossed the grassy field, stopping as he joined them.
“Who is it this time?” Orion asked nodding to each of them.
“It’s another of Crystal’s humans. Her name is Mary Murphy and she was the town’s Librarian.
Really nice lady who mostly kept to herself,” Morgan replied.
