Chapter 18: Epilogue

Anna Pov

2 years later,

I am sitting in my room wearing white gown waiting for my dad. Today is my wedding I don’t know why I am feeling so nervous.

‘Don’t be so nervous. It’s just Leo, you know him since childhood. You love him and he loves you. There is nothing to be afraid about’ I am repeating in my mind to calm my nerves.

After some time my dad came in the room to take me to Leo.

“You are looking gorgeous baby. I am so happy today. You made the right choice. Now let’s go your prince is waiting for you” he said to me making blush rise up my cheeks, extending his hand.

I looped my hand in his and he took me to alter. I wanted our wedding in an open place with flower decorations. When I looked at the altar it was all feeling like a dream, there stood my Leo in all his glory looking at me with a big smile on his face and admiration in his eyes.

We reached the alter and dad gave my hand in Leo’s tapping  his shoulder with pride. I am so happy to see the joy and love in the eyes of our families. I looked at Leo and saw him looking at me with a big smile on his face.

“You are looking gorgeous my princess” he said in my ear kissing my cheek.

“You are also looking so handsome my prince” I said.

We turned toward the priest and took our vows to support and be with each other for eternity.

This is all looking like a dream to me, a very beautiful dream, I don’t want to wake up from.

3 years later,

I am waking to and fro in our dining room. I am feeling hell worried, nervous, and happy all at once. You can also say my feelings are a jumbled mess.

I was throwing-up and feeling nauseous for some days but I never thought it would be the reason. At this time I have an envelope in my hand. And I don’t know how I will tell Leo, how he will react to this news. I don’t know anything. Because of all these mixed feelings I am feeling like I will cry.

After some time I heard the voice of door and Leo’s voice.

“It’s ok. Just go and tell him. There is nothing to be nervous about” I said to myself.

“Hey princess, I am back. How are you feeling today?” Leo asked with concern in his voice, hugging me. I hugged him back clutching the envelop tightly in my hand. He didn’t wanted to go to work because he was worried for my health but I sent him anyways.

“What happened princess. Are you not feeling well? You should rest, what you were doing here?” he asked me concerned taking my face in his hands looking in my eyes concerned.

“I am fine Leo. I just want to tell you something” I said. After seeing him nod I extended the envelop in my hand for him to take.

He took the envelope from my hand and opened it carefully to see the positive pregnancy kit inside it. Huge smile broke on his lips. He picked me up twirling me laughing with happiness and shouting at the top of his lungs “I am going to be dad.”

“You don’t know how happy you just made my princess. After some months there will be a little you or little me in our life.” He said smiling happily placing his hand on my belly. I also have a huge smile on my face seeing his happiness, all the nervousness gone. He went to his knees cupping my belly.

“Thank you for coming in our life baby. We promise, we will love you so much and will be the best parents for you” he said while kissing my belly.

“Baby said that his father is already best father in this whole world” I said smiling to him with my hands in his hair.
