Chapter 16: Surprises

Anna Pov

I woke up with a new start. I don’t know what but I am feeling so happy and cheerful today. When I sat up on my bed I found a box on my bedside table. There was a note on it with a rose. I picked them up and opened the noted and read it “A beautiful gown for my beautiful princess. I want you to wear this gown tonight in prom. Also, I want to ask if you will be my date for this prom. Trying to be your prince for tonight. Leo.”

‘That’s weird even for Leo’ I thought opening the box inside was a beautiful blue colored princess gown.

“Wow. So pretty” words came out of my mouth. I picked up the box to put it in my closet but found another note on the table. I opened the note. It said,

‘I hope you know

Your beauty is beyond what words can say,

I really hope you wake up,

Reading this and smile all day.’

A huge smile plastered on my lips with all this sweet gesture. I went to washroom and saw the mirror to realized that I was blushing. My face resemble with tomato.

I went out of my room. When I saw Leo I ran to him hugging him tightly. I whispered “Yes, I will be your date”

His smile widened, he picked me up and twirled me making me laugh. It was like my whole day was fairy-tale full of surprises and sweet gestures of Leo.

When the time came I went to get ready in my room. When I looked at myself in the mirror after getting ready, I was not able to believe my eyes. I was looking so pretty. The dress perfectly fitted my curves.

The gown was off shoulder, there was crystal chain at its lining and a crystal waistband. The bottom of the gown was like made of crystals with a slit on left side coming up to knee. I was actually feeling like a princess in this gown.

I went out of my room and looked at Leo. He was looking so handsome wearing his tux.

“You are looking like real princess or I should say ‘Cinderella’. My princess” he said making me blush.

“You are also looking so handsome, my prince” I replied. I don’t know why I said ‘my prince’ but it felt so right.

“Shall we go?” he asked giving me his hand.

“We shall” I replied giving him my hand.

Leo Pov

Today is our prom and I am going to tell her my feelings today. I put the gown that I buy for her for today I hope she will like it. I am so excited and nervous for what I have planned today, I hope everything will go well. I was in my thoughts when Anna came and hugged me saying she will be my date making me come out of my thoughts. I was so happy that I picked her up and twirled her. We spent the whole day together sitting, talking, laughing and full of surprises.

I am waiting for her outside her room wearing my tux. My eyes popped out looking at her beauty when she came out of her room.

“You are looking like real princess or I should say ‘Cinderella’. My princess” I said making me blush.

“You are also looking so handsome, my prince” she replied. She started blushing after what she said which made me smile. It increased my hopes that maybe she will accept my love for her.

“Shall we go?” I asked giving her my hand.

“We shall” she replied giving giving me her hand.

It is feeling like a beautiful dream. I thought. And we went to our school where prom night is organized.
