Chapter 14: Shopping

Anna Pov
I was sitting on the balcony when Leo came back home. He went out for something. I have a feeling from some days that he is hiding something from me. I asked him many times but he is not telling me. Now I planned that I am not going to talk to him until he will tell me what he is hiding.
He was calling out for me but I didn’t replied. Sometime later he came out on balcony. He came near me and sat in front of me facing me.
“Why were you not replying?” he asked me worried. I wanted to hug him after seeing his worried expression but I reminded myself that I am angry on him and averted my gaze.
“Why are you not talking to me?.....Did I made any mistake?......What happened princess?.......Tell me please. I will make it up to you” he continued to ask but I ignored. But when he said he will make it up to me, I decided to ask.
“I am angry on you. You are hiding something from me. I want to know what you are hiding” I replied still looking away.
“Sorry baby. But it’s not something to be worried about” he replied cupping my face and looking in my eyes.
“Then why are you not telling me?” I asked pouting.
“It’s a surprise princess. Now? Surprises are not reveled, right?” he said convincing me.
“Ok. But you will be punished because you made me worried” I said pouting.
“Anything you say, princess” he said in a fake saluting gesture.
“You will take me to shopping. After that I want an ice cream” I said.
“Your wishes are as cute as you. It will be my pleasure not punishment” he replied pinching my cheeks. “Now go get ready. We don’t want to be late. Right?” he continued to say.
“Ok” I replied hugging him and running in the direction of my room.
After some time,
We were in the mall visiting different stores and buying the things I needed. Leo was helping me and giving me suggestions.
He was holding my bags. I tried to take it from him but he refused to give it back to me. Many people were smiling passing by us. I heard many people whisper “How cute” making me blush.
“Give me these bags. You don’t have to do this for me Leo. Do this for the girl you love” I said to him hiding the pain in chest which I felt from those words. ‘Why am I feeling like this? We are just friends.’ I thought.
I heard him whisper something but ignored it.
