The ground shook from the very powerful explosion. Thick smoke covered the entire surroundings. Did they succeed in defeating the Giant Monkey?
I stood up from the ground and waited for the smoke to clear. I cannot sense the ominous aura like earlier. But how did they know that I was here? Pin-atubo was supposed to be a far land from here. How did they manage to do that?
After a few minutes, the smoke cleared up, and I saw the others running in my direction. I can see that Ester was crying while running towards me. Ani was wiping her tears too while walking towards me.
I hugged Ester once she reached where I was. She kept on sobbing like there's no tomorrow. I guess everyone was really worried about my situation.
"Good to see you again, Ayari," Saldang said.
Even Saldang came with the others just to look for me.
"Yes, me too. But how did you manage to find me? I believe this place was really far from the mainland?" I asked.
I saw Baku, and Anan was smiling. I looked around to check for someone. Someone is missing from this group? Where could he be?
"If you are looking for Apo, he was scouting Adlaw. While we were looking for you, he decided to check the situation first at his home town before we can proceed." Ani said.
"Wait, I was not looking for him. I'm just checking just in case enemies will appear out of nowhere." I answered, embarrassed.
"To answer your question, this past few days, we suddenly felt your spiritual energy out of nowhere. That gave us an idea that you were alive and kicking. As for locating where you are, we should thank Saldang. She was a great help this time." Baku said.
I looked at Saldang and bowed my head, and thanked her for leading our friends to where I was,
"But, how did you manage to follow me here in the Cordilleras?" I asked out of curiosity.
I saw Anan pointing at Baku and Saldang. He was making actions, like flapping his arms as if he was flying.
"You flew going here?" I said, my voice suddenly went high pitch.
The others started laughing at my reaction.
"Yes, big brother. But going here in Pin-atubo, we borrowed the ship that was bound to this place." Ester said, wiping the tears from her eyes.
"When we arrived at Makiling's place, we asked her if by chance they saw you around this place, and they said yes. The one named Ingo also told us that you set off for a mission to defeat the Beast that resides here in Cordilleras. Saldang.
"I see, but that should take you some time to reach this Island. It's impossible to travel going here in just a short time." I said and scratched my head.
This time, Baku pointed her fingers at Ani. What did she do this time?
"Big sister Ani just gave the ship some boost to move faster," Ester answered.
"You what?" I exclaimed.
These guys are really unbelievable. To improve and use their powers like this, I'm glad. What's more important is that they found me. I saw that they were laughing at my reaction again. I really missed their company.
"It looks like you are doing some things again," Ani said.
I nodded my head in response and smiled at them.
"I just want to return the favor to the siblings who saved me from death. That's why I am doing this." I answered.
"We understand. So what's your plan now, Big brother? Let's do this together so that we can go back soon." Anan said.
I told them everything starting from the part that I restored my powers with the help of Ingo. I said to them that to defeat the Beast guarding the Cordilleras, we must eradicate his four servants first. We already beat three of them, and there is only one left.
"So can you tell us what this fourth servant looked like?" Ani asked.
"My animal friends told me that the fourth one takes the appearance of the Beast in this mountain range," I said.
"Animal friends?" Ester asked.
"Oh, sorry. I forgot to tell you that I have developed a new ability while staying here in Pin-atubo. I can communicate with the animals and other living creatures." I said.
"Wait, so are an Animal Whisperer now?" Saldang said, shocked.
"I guess. That's what Makiling told me." I answered.
"You really are surprising, Ayari. Do you know that the ability that you learned was under the nature attribute. As far as I can remember, you only manifest two elements, the same as our deity Mayari."
I can see that everyone was surprised. I chuckled and looked at them before answering.
"I was surprised at first, too. This was because Ingo helped me recover my spiritual energy. I exhausted my spiritual energy during my battle with Bansot, causing me energy deficiency. To save me and recover what I lost, Ingo helped me using his Amplification Ritual. Then after that, Makiling said that I acquired affinity with all of the elements." I said.
I saw my friends gasping in amazement.
"I see, that explains the sudden outburst of spiritual energy that we felt back at the Forest of Retribution. So the Eye of the Sea was the one behind this." Saldang said.
"You know Ingo?" I asked.
"Yes, they are my companions. I have been friends with them for a long time. Also, I always visit this place before when everything was abundant here. After my abilities were restricted for some unknown reason, I cannot fly as far as going here. That's the same case with Baku. We can only travel flying in short distances." Saldang explained.
"I understand. Still, I am shocked that you know the siblings." I said.
Saldang smiles as a response.
"So what are we waiting for? Let's defeat the fourth servant!" Ani shouted.
"Okay, let's go now."
"By the way, do you know where that creature is located?" Baku asked.
"Yes, we just need to follow this path to reach the inner layer of the Cordilleras. Also, we will know if we are near once we feel the intense ominous aura radiating from those creatures." I answered.
"Okay, I understand. But I guess we don't need to move from this place." Baku said.

Ester pointed her hands at the entrance of this then. There were a lot of creatures waiting for us. I also felt the intense evil energy coming from them, and one of them was so menacing.
