Ani's Plan

614 Words
While the others were busy fighting the minions of the beast, I kept on trying to land my attacks on the beast. I did not manage to land a hit, and I can't find any opening. I kept on changing my pattern, but the results were still the same. I checked for the others, and the numbers of the creatures decreased significantly. I jumped back and went to where my companions were. "What's wrong?" Ani asked. "I can't pierce through his defenses. He is way too tough." I said. "I guess we should take care of this smaller creature first, and we can work together defeating the enemy," Anan said. "You are right, but I have a plan. I hope this can lower the enemies' defenses." Ani said. "Okay, I'll listen to your plan and relay it to Baku and Saldang," I said, deflecting the attack from one of the more minor enemies. While I was fighting the other minions, Ani told us her plan. It was a bit of a simple one, but I hope everything works. I hurried to where Saldang and Baku were and told them about the plan. The two dragons agreed with the suggestions of the Ani. After that, we began to execute our plans. I summoned multiple Ice orbs and directed them towards the creature. I saw that the servant was not making its move, as if observing our every action. The spheres began attacking the lesser creatures while Baku and Saldang moved to where Ester and the others were. The two dragons sat down, facing each other, and began casting their spell. Ester followed and summoned the Star Shatterer. She commanded the weapon to create many layers of barrier to protect them if the beast tries to attack them. Little by little, the number of the minions decreased to the state where I can actually count them if how many were. The two dragons continue building up their spell while Ani began her move. For the beast not to notice, I touched the ground and cast my spell. I focused my energy on the basis and imagined the form that I want to achieve. Spiritual pressure gathered around where I was, and the air began to become cold. After a few minutes, Ice walls erupted from the ground, making a line of defense to protect my companions. I can feel that Ani was already doing what she told us. She told me earlier that she learned a new spell that might work on this type of enemy. Ani said to us that she could foresee the attack, which she wants to try if she can do it. I agreed to her plan and told her that she can do it and serve as her backup. After clearing the last group of minions, I dashed back to where the fourth servant was. I ignited the Night's Fall and began attacking the enemy. I have three minutes left before they can execute the attack. Even my attacks did not land, my goal was to make sure that the beast overlooked my companions' planning. I increased the intensity of my spiritual energy so that it can cover the other. I kept on attacking the enemy while waiting for the signal. One minute left, and then I felt that the ground started shaking. This must be the work of Saldang and Baku. I fired a light wave to the Giant beast to cause confusion to the enemy. I moved back as fast as I can to not get caught up in the spell. I felt that there was potent energy that was about to erupt from the ground. "Now!" Anan shouted.
