Cold Blooded Reptile

A giant snake came out from the ground and tried to pounce at me. Luckily, I activated the moonlight dance in advance, and I was able to evade the surprise attack. I knew it, the snake was hiding somewhere, and of course, it was from the ground. The snake hissed loudly towards me because I was able to dodge the attack. 

My body began to tremble from the sight of this reptile, not to mention its size. It was really more extensive than a regular snake. I mean, look at that size. If I measure this, my ruler will be ashamed to measure its length. 

The snaked was getting ready to jump at me again. I can do this, and I know you can defeat this cold-blooded creature. Do not hesitate, Ayari. Calm down. You now have the power to beat this kind of enemy, so believe in yourself. The snake tried to swallow me whole, but I was able to evade the attacks. We continued with the same pattern, and I successfully escaped all of the attacks. I can feel that there was a rise from the spiritual energy coming from the snake. It's like it was getting angry because I was able to get away from its attack. 

Now, it is my turn to attack you, cold-blooded monster. I unsheathed the Night's fall and prepared to cast my spell. I noticed that the haze was getting thicker, and I can feel that this is not a good sign. The snake was trying to do a sneak attack, releasing its fumes around the area. 

I won't let you do what you want, you freaky thing. I took back the Night's fall to the armory and summoned the Galeforce instead. 

I'm sorry, Ani, but let me borrow this one first.

I closed my eyes and began charging the bow with my spiritual energy. The wind began to gather around me little by little. I slowly increased the output of energy and continued setting the bow. 

Unlike before, I was feeling normal now when using the bow. Back then, just touching the bump was draining most of my spiritual energy, but now, I can feel everything was normal. Ingo's amplification ritual was beneficial. Now, to finish this gigantic snake once in for all. 

Oh, Easter winds, gather at my will, 

I ask you to lend me your strength, 

Shatter the evil, blow them with your might. 

Take the enemy away from my sight!

Wind Force!

I released the accumulated energy around the bow, and a powerful gust appeared, blowing away the haze covering the entire lair. I managed to land a hit on the giant snake, but my attack only did a little damaged. I remembered that the core of this monster was located on its tail. 

It is okay that I was not able to finish the snake in one hit. My real goal was to eliminate the toxic fumes covering the field. The gust was still blowing, so the haze can't stay in place. 

Now, I can move around freely, not worrying that I might get intoxicated by the fumes. I returned the Galeforce back in the armory and took the Night's fall back. 

The snake began to lash out its tail to attack me. Again, I was able to evade the enemy's attacks and even deflect some of them. I ignited the Night's fall and infused it with light energy. I activated Moonlight's Dance again, boosting my physical abilities, matching the agility of the snake. 

Now we are even. 

I dashed towards the enemy and plunged my blade towards its body. To my surprise, the scales of the snake were hard, deflecting my attack. The collision vibrated throughout my body, sending me backward.  

After figuring out the solution to one problem, another one arises. 

I tried to think of a way on how I can instantly defeat this phobia of mine. Then an idea came into my mind.

Thank you so much for my Biology teacher. I can put into action what I learned from her classes. I'm lucky that I listened to every lesson when I was studying.

I summoned four ice obs and used them to distract the snake. I directed my attack them to keep on bombarding the snake with Ice shards to prepare for my spell. The orbs moved swiftly towards the enemy after I commanded them as if they have their own life. 

The orbs began to summon a barrage of ice shards, trying to get its attention away from me. The reptile began lashing out its tail again to destroy the orbs, but they were agile as well. I can tell that the snake was being affected by the cold since I can hear it struggling and growling in pain. 

This is the perfect time for me to cast my spell. I hid from the snake's sight and sat down on the ground. I gathered the spiritual energy and created an image in my mind. An enormous magic circle appeared on the basis as I began to cast my magic. 

I keep on focusing my spiritual energy on the surroundings. One by one, large icicle shards appeared from the ground, trapping the snake's movements. Large ice shards continued to emerge from the ground. 

The snake growled in pain as the ice shards hit its body. The spell lasted for a minute until the snake was totally frozen in place. 

There were no movements coming  from the enemy and also it's not give any signs of life and moved closer to where the enemy was to check if you were still alive or not.  As soon as I got closer the body of the enemy began to disappear in the air. It means that I have successfully defeated a monster . 

  the  heavy atmosphere that was covering the area disappeared as well. The poisonous  air completely vanished on the snake den.  I looked around to check if the still enemies left or any minions serving the snake but luckily there was nothing. I'm not sure how my attack landed on the enemy,  but i believe that during the barrage of attacks from the  ice orb,  they  might have accidentally hit the enemy core.

 I already defeated two  servants and I have two more to go.

 I decided to take some rest before continuing my Journey towards the third  enemy.

So do you have any news on how we can get to the island. Ester asked.

 I already talked with the owner of the ship, and  she told me that you can use the ship to travel towards pinatubo . Makisig said.

that's good news then. Let us make our preparations so that we can leave as early as tomorrow.  I can feel that my brother is doing something again. Anan said. 

Ok no worries we can head out tomorrow to reach pinatubo as possible,

 we should take some rest first before we venture towards the island. also we need to inform apo about ayari’s  whereabouts.

 that's not a problem.  i decided to be left here and once apo return, I’ll tell him about the status of Ayari. Makisig said.

 ok so let's continue our journey to  the third enemy.  as far as I can remember,  the animals  told me that this creature took the shape of a monkey and has the ability to split it into three.  aside from that it can blow fire from its mouth.  elemental affinity of the scripture is fire. and it's the opposite of my elemental affinity.

 it will be an advantage for me and also  a disadvantage since the two elements oppose each other.  I began to walk following the path going to the third servants' lair. 

The ominous  aura is getting stronger than before, this time I can already feel the weight the evil energy  radiating from the place. I continued to follow the path and carefully checked the surroundings if there are enemies that's trying to ambush me. so far i cannot feel any malicious intent from the surroundings.  but i am being careful that the enemy  might appear out of nowhere like what the snake  did.

I began to notice that there was a rise in the temperature while i continued walking no words the heart of the cordilleras.  it was getting hotter than usual.  i don't know what's the reason behind this but i made myself  alert just in case any enemies try to attack me. 

As i continued walking i suddenly felt massive ominous aura a few meters away from me.  i believe that i am  getting nearer  where the enemy was.  i was surprised by the surroundings because the branches of the trees unlike before , we were on fire.  this might be the reason why there's a sudden rise in the temperature.  i can feel my sweat  running down on my face as he continued walking towards  the enemy . The evil intent getting stronger.

 after a few minutes,  i arrived at the location where the third enemy was. The monkey was sitting in the middle of the field  as if it was waiting for my arrival.  i can feel the tension rising  as i entered the field.
