Apo's POV

I can't understand how I feel, but it seems like Ayari, and I have known each other for a long time. It is as if some force is always approaching us.

I know my Father's mission, I have many opportunities, but I still can't do it. I tried so many times, but I always stop halfway. Maybe, I should have let them die in Amihan. I would not have dirtied my hands too, but it felt like someone was telling me to save him.

I need to carry out my mission, or I can't escape from the dark path I am walking. I believed this would be my salvation. I was given a second chance but ended up in a life that was worse than mine. Maybe this is the karma for hurting the people I love from the place I came from. Especially that one person, whom I developed feelings too, but I don't know why I turned him down. I got that person involved in something that I cannot turn back, and I hope he is still alive.

Ayari told me that he would settle things with the assailant at Bulan. I can't leave him alone, so I decided to accompany him. Ayari is too trusting, and even we just met for a short period. I will use this as a chance to finish my Father's mission.

We sneaked out that night, and luckily no one caught us. Sometimes, Ayari can be silly-headed, especially with decision-making. He keeps on making faces that I always find amusing—some magnet that wants me to look at his face.

Well, I did not bother with my emotions and did not care about things. Maybe this is because I am longing for a companion. Unlike the life, I lived in Adlaw, locked up underground, tortured if I did not listen.

We hurried to the woods and saw a horde of sigbin. The creatures look familiar to me like I saw them together with some person talking to Father in the past.

I used my powers as we continued to fight the pesky monsters. I told Ayari to go ahead and look for the summoner.

After finishing the remaining creatures here, I decided to follow Ayari. I saw him battling two giant snakes, and the one who controls them was a creepy woman. I can feel the dark energy from here. He looks like he was in trouble. It is my chance, and I'll leave him here to die.

I can't leave him. I saw sigbin dashing towards him, and my body started to move on its own. I protected him from the attack, causing the sigbin to bite me. My vision was getting blurry.

Well, it's okay if I die here. At least I can escape things without worrying a lot. I felt intense spiritual pressure, and it was coming from Ayari. He was full of rage. I tried to console him.

He continued with his raged and summoned the relics of the Goddess.

Ayari successfully defeated the enemy. He ran towards me and panicked. Ayari carried me on his back and heard another voice, and it was his brother Anan.

He poured some strange liquid, and I can feel the pain disappearing. They carried me back to Bulan, and the others were waiting for us. They were mad at Ayari, and I don't know why I feel bad for him. I told him that it was okay to cheer him up.

I can't explain my feelings, this sudden surge of emotion. Later that Night, Ayari took care of me. He was about to leave, but I told him not to. I feel my heart ached when he stood up. I pulled him towards me, and my heart was beating like crazy.

I held him tight so that he can't run away. I was losing my control, and I can't explain things. Ayari just stayed in his position, and he fell asleep. As the night got deeper, he hugged me tightly and was calling my name.

I don't know, but that made me happy.

I closed my eyes and used dimension magic to summon Night's Fall., then I took out the Galeforce at the same time.

I concentrated energy in my hands and summoned an arrow, then aimed at the dummy using the Galeforce. Everyone was surprised by what I did.

"How did you do that, Master?" Baku asked.

"I don't know either. I was desperate that time and the one that responded to my call was the Galeforce."

I told Ani to try summoning the Galeforce, which she was able to do so. I told her to picture Night's fall in her mind, but she cannot call it. We were all confused by the happenings.

"We should continue our journey and hope that on our way, and we can find the answers for this," Baku said.

I told Anan to tell Father about our plans, so we won't have any complications before leaving.

That's good to hear then, by the way, do you still want to go with us? I asked, hoping that he will go with us.

"Before that, I have something to tell you," Apo said with a severe expression.
