Trying not to look conspicuous, I went to where the double hung window was located and saw a piece of wood between the lower sash and the stool, as if it was forced and kept open. That window has always been shut close, and can only be opened inside, but thanks to Brianna, that's not my problem anymore.
Swiftly sliding up the lower sash, and even when it made a cringe-worthy shrieking sound, I still managed to push it open and I jumped to let myself in. Although trying to fit myself through that window was a bit of a challenge, I still got in quietly.
