Beta Zeus raised a brow, before he tilted his head as if to look at someone else from behind me. "That omega's not with you?" He asks, shaking his head as he made a tsk-ing sound, "I'd say that's too bad, but I'd be lying."
"She is positioned on the other side of this door, however."
"Oh," Beta Zeus' mouth formed into the shape of a small 'o', not even bothering to hide the disappointment in his face and voice, "Sucks."
"It is for everyone's benefit that you go easy on her this time," I said, not forgetting to look at the beta straight in his eyes, so he could take me seriously.
"I've always been easy on the pup," Zeus responded with an aggravated huff, "Why do you think she's still alive? We both know that's not because she can fight me."
