We start digging around making sure to take great care not wanting to hurt any of the clay pots that were under our fingers. Trying to be so very gentle.
Natalie - Haha look at that.
Nikki - Its so beautiful. i just might cry.
Natalie - Me too.
We get up and hug each other not caring that were both dirty.
Natalie - This is why i love my job too find beautiful treasures hidden and just waiting fro us to find them.
Nikki - I second that.
We see Eric walking towards us just then.
Eric - Holy crap would you look at that....... Jasper
Eric starts yelling for him and waving his arms trying to get him to look at us while me and Nikki are still holding on to each other. Jasper comes running thinking there is something wrong because me and Nikki were hugging and having a full on girl moment.
Jasper - What's wrong?
We all point and say look at the same time.
Jasper - Holy Cow ..... There beautiful.
Jasper drops down to his knees first and we follow and start digging more and being more careful because we find more broken pieces as we go. we get 10 clay pots that are not broken and 8 that are cracked and in pieces.
Eric - well lady great job
Nikki - thank you hun but it was a team effort
Eric - I know i am just saying great job team
He picks her up off the ground and spins her around then places her back down and kisses her on top of the head as they both laugh. It was almost contagious. I am just standing there looking at the pots turning one over and over in my hands. Jasper gets up and walks over to me. My mind was on the pot in my hands trying to look for any marks written on it or any carvings. Jasper was standing behind me and wraps his arms around my waist and tucks his head on my shoulder.
Jasper - What a find huh?
Natalie - It really is.
Jasper - ready to head back?
it was starting to get late the sun was just going down
Natalie - Yes
The rest of the team take over seeing if there is anything else and taking everything to get cleaned. we start to pack up and head back to the jeeps
Eric - Are we celebrating?
Nikki - Yes
Natalie - Yes
Jasper - Ok then
Once we head back to the hotel we shower and change and have dinner together.

Three Way Phone Conversation

Jasper and I walked into the elevator together.
Karon - So how is it going out there Natalie?
I start telling them about what we dug up today and they seemed thrilled i did not wanna talk long because tomorrow there would be so much to do. but Karon had other thigs in mind.
Karon - So Natalie Any hotties out there.
Michael - Really Karon

Jasper held open the door for me to enter first.
Natalie - Well i did meet someone.
Michael - Wait what ... who ... How did someone way out there? i mean you have been gone only a week you went out there for work not to meet guys

Ok this conversation is turning the wrong way and feels very different

Jasper has a look on his face that i am pretty sure mirrors my own shocked i would put it.

I see Jasper walk into the bathroom and i go and take a seat on the couch.
Natalie - I was saying i met someone he is not from here he is from Washington like us. i met him before i even got here. yes we work together and we started seeing each other.
Michael - I have go talk to you guys later.
Michael hung up with out so much of a good bye
Natalie - OK what's going on?
Karon - I am not sure he kind of sounded like a jealous ex.
Steven - yeah I don't know Natalie she might be right. Has he said anything to you?
Natalie - No
Steven - Maybe it is something else maybe we are missing something that he has not had a chance to tell us yet i will stop by after work and check on him.
Karon - good Idea babe
Natalie - Ok keep me posted he sounded mad at me and thats not like him.
Steven - i will but anyways what i was gonna say before all this crazy happen is i am happy for you if your happy Nat if you found someone who is right for you great. Even if its just the beginning. nI knew i loved Karon when i first saw her and it can happen to anyone.

I hear her give him a kiss that last a little too long.
Natalie - Ummm Hello im still here wait till later please.
Steven - sorry couldnt help myself
i didnt realize Jasper was sitting at the tablet with his computer until i heard noise he was typing away i looked over and he smiled at me
Natalie - Hey Steven let me know how it goes ok im going to head to bed ill talk to you guys later ok.
We say our good byes and i hang up.
Jasper - i didnt mean to over hear some of that conversation but it seems like one of your friends dose not like that fact that your dating someone.
Natalie - It did seem that way but something else seemed off about him I just cant put my finger on it
Jasper - Do you think he has feelings for you?
Natalie - If he did he has never said anything to me about it and i never picked up on anything i mean he is like a brother to me.
Jasper - Well at least i know your feelings towards him then
i get up and walk over to him and sit on his lap and he puts his arms around me.
