Louis, Rhys and I step into the impressive foyer. The massive high ceilinged space blends luxury with rustic details - polished tree trunk posts support an upper level, and oaky brown wood panelling wraps up the entrance hall, accentuated with golden wall sconces attached to hanging vintage lamps, which look suspiciously new despite their carefully weathered aesthetic.  A wooden bench against the wall is covered with plush fur cushions (I hope they're not real fur, but they look a lot like someone massacred a whole family of foxes). There's a sumptuous Persian rug on the floor, and a row of three ginormous taxidermy moose heads on the wall above the entrance. It’s all just too much.
