Rafe turns around to face me, the silvery starlight catching on his dark hair. As usual, half of it falls down to his shoulders, and the other half is tied up in a top-knot. He's wearing head to toe black tonight - maybe to better blend in with the darkness - a perfect match for his dark eyes, so dark steely grey that they are practically ebony. Even though I've seen him a handful of times now, it's not the same in a dream or in the reflection of a mirror or water - in person, the sheer beauty of him is overwhelming.
