--- 🌸 Episode 9: Birthday Trouble 🌸 It was the weekend, and one of Mimi’s college friends, Anika, was celebrating her birthday at a popular lounge-bar. The place was buzzing with music, laughter, and the faint smell of birthday cake and cocktails. Mimi and Siya had arrived early, excited for a night off from assignments and rehearsals. Mimi (grinning): “Siya, tonight is going to be legendary. Cake, music, and maybe a few embarrassing dance moves from me.” Siya (rolling her eyes): “Or you’ll spill something on yourself and start a fire. That’s more like it.” Mimi laughed and ignored the warning. --- 🍹 Enter Trouble They found Anika already surrounded by friends. The party vibe was infectious, music thumping through the bar. As the girls settled, a group of college boys—known for being rowdy—noticed Mimi and Siya. Their eyes lingered a little too long, and their smirks made the girls uneasy. Boy 1 (mocking, loud): “Well, well, look who decided to show up. Pretty girls at a bar? Dangerous combo.” Mimi (frowning, whispering to Siya): “Uh-oh. Trouble.” Siya (panicking): “Did you see the way they’re staring? I knew this place was a bad idea!” Mimi, ever fearless, rolled her eyes. Mimi: “Relax. I’ve handled worse. Maybe.” --- ⚡ The Misbehavior The boys edged closer, trying to intimidate them. One of them leaned over Mimi’s chair and tried to grab her arm. Mimi (pushing him away): “Hands off!” Boy 2 (smirking): “Why so serious? We’re just having fun.” Siya (terrified): “Mimi, do something!” Mimi braced herself, ready to yell, when suddenly, a tall shadow appeared behind them. Rishi (calm, deadly): “Fun ends now.” The boys froze. Everyone could feel the shift in the atmosphere. Rishi’s aura alone was enough to make a room quiet down. --- 🥊 Rishi Steps In Before the boys could react, another figure appeared—Vicky. A tall, confident guy with a sharp jawline and mischievous eyes. He looked at the boys and smirked. Vicky (teasing, loud): “Really? You think today’s your day to mess with someone else’s friends?” The boys looked confused, intimidated by Rishi, and surprised by the arrival of this new guy. Rishi (cold, dangerous): “Leave. Now.” The tallest boy stepped forward, trying to act brave. Tall Boy: “And who are you supposed to be? The scary mafia boy’s sidekick?” Rishi’s hand twitched, and the boy felt the silent threat radiating off him. Vicky, on the other side, laughed, then effortlessly blocked another boy from approaching Mimi, his stance like a trained fighter. Vicky (mocking): “Cute. Really cute. But you picked the wrong table tonight.” The boys glanced at each other, unsure if they were about to fight two dangerous guys or just walk away. --- 🎶 Chaos in the Bar Mimi, trying to stay calm, whispered to Siya: Mimi: “Wow… they’re like superheroes. Or mafia princes. Either way, I’m impressed.” Siya: “Superheroes or not, I don’t want to be here when fists start flying!” The tallest boy lunged, but Rishi intercepted him with a simple step and a firm grip on his arm. Vicky pushed another back with ease, their teamwork seamless. Within seconds, the boys realized they were outmatched. Some ran, some slunk back to their tables, and the rest gave up. The bar returned to normal, but everyone’s eyes were on Rishi and Vicky. --- 🥳 Party Resumes Anika ran over, clapping her hands. Anika: “Mimi! Siya! Are you okay?” Mimi (laughing nervously): “Better than okay. Thanks to Rishi and… uh… mystery hero here.” Rishi (dryly): “Vicky isn’t a mystery.” Vicky (grinning): “Noted. But I like being dramatic.” Mimi laughed, relief washing over her. Siya kept glancing nervously at the guys, still jittery, but safe. Anika: “Okay! Enough drama. Cake time!” The group gathered for photos, laughter, and cake. Even Rishi and Vicky, usually stoic, allowed themselves small smiles. --- 🍰 Quiet Moment Later, Mimi and Rishi stepped aside to grab drinks. Mimi (softly, teasing): “You know… you don’t have to look scary all the time. But I guess it comes in handy.” Rishi (glancing at her, deadpan): “Apparently, it does.” Mimi (smiling): “Don’t look so serious. You saved the day, and you didn’t even complain.” Rishi said nothing, but his lips twitched in a barely-there smirk. Mimi (whispering): “Thanks, Rishi. For everything.” He looked at her for a long moment, then nodded. --- 🌌 Vicky’s Introduction Meanwhile, Vicky joined them, handing Mimi a small chocolate. Vicky: “Here. For surviving the wild jungle of the bar.” Mimi (laughing): “Thanks… I owe you one.” Vicky (grinning): “You owe me nothing. Just keep being fun to hang out with.” Rishi watched silently, a flicker of curiosity in his eyes. He noticed the easy rapport between Vicky and Mimi. Something about this guy seemed… different. Not threatening, not chaotic—just friendly. Rishi (thinking): “He might not be a problem. Yet.” --- 🎵 Dance Floor Chaos The music picked up again. Mimi, never one to resist, grabbed Siya and pulled her to the dance floor. Rishi and Vicky followed, more to keep an eye on the girls than to dance. Mimi (shouting over music): “Come on! One slow dance won’t kill you!” Rishi (dry): “I prefer standing still.” Mimi: “Then I’ll just dance around you!” She twirled, and even Rishi allowed himself to watch, his expression softening. Vicky joined in, and for the first time, the group felt like just friends enjoying a night out, not like dangerous or “scary” figures. --- 🌸 Final Scene of Episode 9 Later, outside the bar, the night air was cool and calming. Mimi and Siya walked ahead, laughing and replaying the chaos of the evening. Mimi (softly, to Rishi): “You were amazing tonight. And… thanks for having my back.” Rishi didn’t say much, but his hand brushed hers for a brief moment—a small, silent reassurance. Vicky, walking beside them, whistled softly. Vicky: “You two make a solid team. Don’t let anyone mess with that.” Rishi glanced at him, a faint smile tugging at his lips. Rishi (muttering): “Yeah… solid.” Mimi squeezed his hand playfully. Mimi: “Come on, scary mafia prince. Let’s go home.” And for the first time that night, Rishi felt… normal. Safe. Lighter. Because in that moment, he wasn’t a mafia heir. He was just a friend. – Episode 9 Ends –
