My Pharaoh's Temple (ON HOLD)

Anas POV

The Temple was gigantic. Hieroglyphs were all over the doors, and stone walls. I couldn't help, but glide my hand over the unknown symbols.

“What do they say?” Asked Rakeem.

“I'm not sure... These hieroglyphs are, I don't know, kinda unknown. They're familiar to the normal ones we are used to find, but these are a bit more complicated”

“Can you figure them out? You're the prof here”

“Of cause I can” I worked with hieroglyphics since I was 5 years old, of cause can I solve this. Well, I hope I can...

I worked with these hieroglyphs over 45 hours without sleep, and I think I solved this. Did I solve this? OH GOD, I SOLVED IT!

“BOYS!” I ran to the excavation site, trying to find one of the boys.

When I reached them with wide eyes. I couldn’t help but tear them into a group hug.

“I solved it”

“Oh god” and with that said, we ran back to the tent.

I hurried to find everything, and place it on the desk in front of the boys.

“Okay, so on the door it says, that a Pharaoh should be married, but he refused to marry any of princesses, that got presented to him. Pharaoh wanted to have a queen, that he knew, he could fall in love with. So he made a deal with someone, that part I’m not so sure about, but he made a deal to get his queen, in exchange for some herbs and gold”

“So where could be a royal tomb in where?”

“I don't know Andrew. Maybe?”

“What about the walls? What do they say?” Asked Issac.

“On the walls, there is like a story about the queen, or goddess of beauty and kindness, as they called her. They said, that she was a true beauty with a kind heart, that really cared about the pharaoh and the kingdom. I can’t figure really figure out, what the rest of the story says, but maybe we find more when we explore inside the temple?”

“Interesting, maybe we should stop for today, and go into the temple tomorrow” Issac brushed the dust off his jeans, and took his things to his tent. The other boys did the same and waved bye to me.
