"This is the conference room Miss Athena". They stop in front of a glass door. Athena nodded and smile at her. She blows a heavy breath before knocking the door. 'Good Luck' she whispered on herself.
Athena then proceeded opening the door. The people inside stopped whatever they are doing when she entered the door and look at her instantly. She nervously raised her hand and slowly said Hi to cover her ackwardness. She feels her cheeks turning into red. She's very ackward. She don't know what to do and say. Their eyes are on her. 's**t' she cursed on back of her head. She wants to run and hide.
And then one of the guys speak. "Stop it guys. Her cheeks is turning into a tomato!" he laughingly commented. "Im Carl Montanez by the way" He introduce himself and offer his hand. "Come, take a sit" he added.
Athena shakes his hand and sit. She smiled. "Thank you sir" she said.
"Feel comfortable Miss---?"
"Miss Athena Morales sir" a long paused before she responded.
"Come on guys don't be so rude. Introduce yourselves". Carl stated. And then one by one they introduce themselves. They seems nice after all the introduction and they even made her laugh with their silly jokes.
Athena is not used with men around. She keenly observed everyone. She observed their actions, smile and how they speak to one another. She bet that they are friends even after works. And they are group of God in posture. Everyone are appealing, charismatic and drooling. Is Caleb one of their friends? She asked herself. She then shakes her head to stop her from thinking of the guy earlier.
She then turned around and notice that she's the only the woman on the hall. She's wondering why there is none female in the room. Her expression completely change and frowned.
"Whats wrong?" One of the guy asked. Maybe he noticed her frowning.
"I'm wondering, am I the only woman here? I mean you know" she reluctantly ask. The guy smile and giggle. "No, there's lots of female here.They are just always late lol" he answered. Athena nodded in relief. She thought she will surrounded only by men.
The man in front of him is Ethan Dilgado, tall and handsome, very charismatic and look like a model. And she's wondering if woman are drooling over this dude and his friends.
Athena smile in her thought.
But what caught her attention is the two unoccupied sits. Athena would like to ask about it when a handsome dirty looking guy pop out of the door.
Athena froze. 'Its him' she utter to herself.
"Sorry I am late. I have to check something." He stated. It's the guy earlier. Caleb Wright.
Athena stares at his face. Her heart beats faster when the guy smile. She is blushing. His the most handsome guy in the room. Athena couldn't remove his eyes on him. She followed his every movement. His talking with the other men in the room. His smooth, masculine, his a jaw dropping human. She can't describe him more.
And she thinks that he's good in bed. 'I think his packed'. Athena shakes her head. She's having a dirty thought on him. 'Oh my God! He is very hot and sexy and all'.
"Stop staring, he doesn't like that" Mathew Foster, whisper to her, one of the engineer in the hall. She can't remove her gaze on him.
"Is there something on my face Miss?" The handsome guy in front of him asked her, Mr.Caleb Wright.
Athena froze. She look away and ackwardly shake her head. He noticed her staring at him the entire time. Oh my God. He is a God. She knows that she's turning red again. It's her first encounter with him but the effect is very unimaginable. She can't even say, utter a single work. How could she work with this God of Ace. And she doesn't know that he can speak like something she can't explain. And she's imagining her in his bed, moaning his name. 'My God Athena, this is not you'
"I know I'm handsome Miss, but I'm taken" Caleb stated.
Taken? Athena feels like she is stab multiple times in her heart. Caleb is taken? by who?
"Hi everyone" a woman pop out. "Sorry, I am late. Gonna have to buy some coffee before facing your ugly face folks" she laughingly said.
"Whatever Gianna" Carl stated. Gianna just rolled her eyes and sit on one of the unoccupied sits. "Ow, we have a new face here" she faced her. "Introduce yourself Miss" Gianna added.
"Ahmm. Athena Morales" Athena introduce herself.
"I like your style and you're very pretty" Gianna complimented her. Athena just put a small smile in her face.
'Is she the girlfriend or Fiance of Caleb?' she asked herself. Gianna look like a goddess. Athena couldn't help but to compare herself.
Her eyes turned to Caleb again, who's busy turning his pages. "Athena, Caleb will melt if you keep on staring at him"
"No, I'm not" she refused. Carl just giggle. "His already taken Athena" he added.
"I'm not interested" She said. And turned her attention on something else.
"Can I get your attention guys". Everyone went to silent and face the guy talking, mr. Albert, the manager. She doesn't notice that's his here. She was busy staring Caleb.
"Okay guys, the purpose of today's meeting is about the upcoming projects and of course to meet our new Engineer, Ms. Athena Morales." Mr. Albert stated.
Athena smile but deep inside she felt disappointed, Caleb didn't even give her a glance. Well, who is she anyways.
They just meet and he has a fiance or a girlfriend. His taken according to him.
She tried to focus on Mr. Albert discussion. But she couldn't understand a thing, she keeps on glancing Mr. Wright. Her thought are on him. 'Whats wrong with me? Why am I so distracted? He's just a guy.'Athena utter to herself.
