Ms. Rica’s Tutelage Training at 225 Second Street completed, I have this odd sense of accomplishment... which within days fades. The workday is dull. Curious that Pete Harper called it ‘the fast lane’. As stated, I am to stare at the wall when there are no tasks, and the intervals of so doing seem to be frequent and lengthy. I must assume it is intentional, for when Ms. O’Brien steps from her inner office, deigning to speak with me, I feel like a lonely puppy, just a modicum of attention bringing the tail to wag. “You’re assigned, Ryan.
