*Deimos' POV*
I entered the yard of Kyros' home and was met by Atlas and Messene. "What's this?" I asked them.
"She says we can't come in; Kyros' orders."
"Like Hell," I bit out and stepped up to the door. Messene stood in my path and refused to step aside. When I made a motion to push her aside, Atlas stopped me.
I looked from him to Messene and saw that she was trembling, her lips pressed into a defiant line. She was terrified but I couldn't tell if it was directed at us or Kyros. Regardless, I lowered my hands to my side and took a step back.
She seemed to relax and bobbed her head in thanks. "The master will be awake shortly," she said with a soft voice. Then, she closed the door in our faces.
"What do you think he's doing to her?" Atlas asked.
