Xenosa's POV:
Nothing eventful happened at dinner, rather than the most amazing food ever. They said we'd get used to it since this will how our meals be like for the whole duration of our stay here. After we ate, we figured it would be best if we headed to sleep right away, it was a pretty eventful day and we were exhausted. The castle helpers were the ones who lead us to our rooms, we all had separate rooms by the way. I even asked the helpers for a map, instead they gave me a compass. They say it points to wherever direction I needed to go to. They're very helpful, I guess they've had cases of lost demigods in the castle before. The compass is a pretty cool feature. Though we had separate rooms they were just next to each other so I was thankful enough for that. The thought of barging into Cresia's room whenever I want to sounded comforting. I haven't met or seen the other demigods yet. Maybe they've decided to have more time with their families, since I hear this will be the only chance we'll get to talk to them in a very long time. I hear they have domain emergencies happening all the time, so they won't be able to take much absences. I for one wasn't able to talk to my parents and Nana after dinner. They must've went to sleep already. Once I stepped inside the room, I was shocked to see that my stuffs are already here. Like the pack that I brought with me and even the other ones. I miss Luci, I wish I brought her here with me. But I know that she's in much safer hands now. There was now way I was going to go and bring her to the quest with me, and I doubt I'll be able to play with her much here. Since I know I'll be spending a lot of time training. Speaking of training, just what kind of training will I get? I hope it's combat training, I really doubt my inborn demigod skills would last me in a fight with much stronger foes in the future. After scanning the whole entire room with my eyes, I discovered I had my very own closet and bathroom here. Well, that's convenient. I then decided to get a towel from the closet and immediately hopped in the shower. The shower even had cold and hot choices. Cool. I have my very own tub as well. And of course all the other shower essentials a girl would need are here as well. This place couldn't get any better. Thought the castle's interior is more on the classic side of things, I could say that my bathroom was a bit more modern. Though who am I to complain right? I turned the shower on and used the hot water option to take a bath. I took my time in taking the hot shower and lathering myself with soap and shampoo. They even provided me with free conditioner. Now that's something I really need. After the very long shower I just had, I then proceeded to change into my pajamas. I blow dried my hair and brushed it a few times. I then crawled to my bread, with the thoughts of tomorrow continuing to linger in my head and closed my eyes. Finally, some good sleep. The next morning, I woke up to a loud horn. Why the heck would they do that in the mornings? Is it our wake up call? What was this the military? Nonetheless, I still decided to get my self ready. I sat up from my twin sized bed and went to the bathroom. I then washed my face and brushed my teeth. After that I fixed my hair. I tied it into a tight ponytail, since we'll be training today it would be a good idea to tie my hair up so that it wouldn't distract me as much. After doing my hair, I went to my closet. I need to choose something sporty, so I got a loose oversized shirt with a sport b*a underneath and paired it with some exercise leggings. I then got out a pair of socks and shoes as well. After changing I then headed off outside my door. Just as I opened the door, a house helper was just about to knock on it. "Good morning" I said and smiled at her. I guess she wasn't expecting that, since she had a shocked look plastered on her face. I keep on forgetting that heirarchy is a big deal here. I just don't see myself as someone who's important or someone that the helpers should be afraid of. Nonetheless, the small fairy still smiled at me and said, "Good morning dearest, the demigods are all expected to be in the dining hall for breakfast. I'm Emma your personal maid here," she said while introducing herself. "Uh hello! I'd just like to say that there's no need to be so formal with me. ANyways, have you seen Magbabaya or his wife? " I asked. I was asking about my dad, maybe I could get him to answer some of my questions about the quest from him. Though I don't think he knows much about it but I still think that's better than nothing. "Unfortunately, I haven't heard from the god of the sea yet. Don't worry I'll tell you if I ever get word of him," she answered. "Uhm Manang Emma? Is it okay if I call you that? I'm not really used to calling someone who's older than me by their own names," I explained to her. She nodded her head and said, "Yes it's quite alright dear," and gave me a kind smile. "Now let's go we'll need to get you some breakfast. Your friends are already there, you guys start training today. You'll need all the energy you can get," she says. Okay what's that supposed to mean? "I guess training isn't going to be a walk in the park will it Manang?" I asked sounding hopeful she'll say otherwise. But to my disappointment she replied with a motherly tone, "Yes, I'm afraid so dear, now c'mon the clock is ticking". I followed Manang Emma all the way to the dining hall. The place was already buzzing with noice the moment I got there. Okay, this is weird. I didn't remember this much people for dinner last night. Manang Emma then lead mo to where Cresia, Jazz and Justin was seated at. "Good morning there, princess," Justin was the first to speak. And then flashed me that smile of his showing off his dimples. Cresia immediately turned to where I was and said, "I got you your breakfast already." I then sat down and turned to tell Manang to say that I'm going to be alright now. But to my surprise she was already gone, I was about to ask them about that when Jazz beat me to it. "They appear whenever we need them to as long as it's within the premises of the castle Xen. Don't worry she'll be back," she said. I nodded my head and smiled at them. "Good morning, would anyone like to explain why this place is suddenly packed with people? I'm pretty sure it wasn't like this last night" I said. "That's because some of the people you see now aren't from the castle. They stay down there, where Biringan City is at. They're here on official business," Cresia explains. "Ah, that would make sense," I murmured to myself. After we ate our breakfast, we then proceeded to go to the back yard. To my surprise our trainers are already there. A woman who seemed to be in her mid twenties gestured for me to come to her. When I got to where she was standing I immediately bowed my head. "You are late demigod," she spat at me rather angrily. "I for one don't appreciate tardiness. Time is of essence. You must learn the habit of punctuality. Drop and give me 20 sit ups," she ordered. I immediately dropped to the ground and began to do my sit ups. Look as much as I want to explain why I was late, I really couldn't. Considering th efact that it was my own fault why I was late. I got too engrossed in our conversations in breakfast that training skipped my mind. Good thing Emma appeared to remind me about it. We got here as fast as we could. I looked around and saw Cresia, Jax and Justin were punished just like me. They were doing sit ups, push ups, and jumping jacks respectively. When I finished my sit ups I realized that we were the only ones who were late. The others had already started their lessons. "Our lesson for you first day will be about your powers," she said while motioning for me to sit down on the ground. Which I did of course. No questions asked. "Before we start for real, I'd like to introduce myself. I am Eas, and yes I'm a woman. I was named after the the trainer for greek heroes. In spirit and in essence we are the same being. Only the forms are different. In this life I am a woman and just like many of my other lives, I too trained the greatest heroes in this one. Today, as I've said we'll talk about your powers. I understand that you've used them in battle before. but have you used it in the correct way," she says while strutting around. "Now your powers include being able to manipulate and heal wounds with water. I guess this is the power you got from your dad am I correct?" I eagerly nodded my head. "Most of the time the demigod kids can only have one power from their godly parent and most of the time it's related to their main domains. Now if ever you have other powers, you'll be able to discover them through training," she continued to say. "Now in using your power I'd like to ask you if your aware where your powers come from?" she asked. "Uhm from my dad?" I stupidly answered."Incorrect. I'm asking where your powers are coming from. Try again," she ordered. I closed my eyes and tried to think as hard as I could. "My powers come from energy," I say this time sounding sure. Eas then smiled, "Very well. Now do you know how you are able to trigger your powers?" Now that she had mentioned I'm not entirely sure about it. "Uhm to be frank, I don't really know. I only ever use my powers in a fight. And during that I don't really think how I did it. It just happens instinctively I guess," she then shook her head at my answer. "That's because whenever you're in a middle of a fight your body knows that it should protect itself. But this isn't really reliable, as the body and mind can be easily tricked. Using too much of your power will not only drain your energy but your life force as well," I nodded at her. So I've only been able to activate my powers in the past because it's just it's natural reaction to danger. Not because I willed it to happen. Geez. "Now, water is a free energy. It's able to take the shape of any container easily. Today you will learn how to produce water from your hands. And no I don't mean blood or sweat. You must be able to dig to the deepest parts of your core and find water. And when you do, it is going to look like this," she closed her eyes and brought her palms together, she took deep breaths and made circular motions with her palms. The left hand under the right and right over the left with both palms facing each other. She then opened her eyes and I was amazed how blue they were. Chiron's eyes glowed this vibrant blue color and then just like that her hair blew out to different directions and was holding a giant water energy ball. She aimed it at a tree and my jaw dropped at the amount of energy it emitted it cut down a whole a*s tree. The leaves were gone and the only thing that remained were the roots. Eas then smiled at me mischievously, it was as if she was going to do something even more mind-blowing and eyes still blue, she looked gorgeous. She then joined her palms again causing the water energy ball to disappear. "Nice to meet you Xenosa, my sister. I am Dagat, the first daughter of Magbabaya. And welcome to your first ever lesson aqua de enerhiya." I gulped loud and hard. That's just great, a legend for a sister.
