Xenosa's POV:
I couldn't feel anything around me, but I could see that everything was dark. Wais was I unconscious? I must be. That would be the reason why everything is pitch black right now. I was alone in a void, nothing was there. Nobody was there with me either. I called out, "Hello?" I was confused. Did I need to be here at the moment? I didn't understand anything. After a while of just being in the middle of nothingness, a sound came buzzing. Was I coming awake? I could hear people panicking. Was that Cresia? What happened to me anyway? Weird, but I didn't exactly worry about myself the moment that I got here. Maybe it was because I didn't feel any kind of pain while I was there. I felt nothing. Not the calming kind though, it's like the calm before the storm. The sound of people bickering came to my senses again, though just barely audible. Why were they arguing? Anyway, I try to think about what happened. I was just training with Lady Eas. She was telling me about the Dark Lord. I was doing something with my powers, I guess. Bingo! Was I too high up in the ground? I remember falling, but I don't remember hitting anything after. Did somebody catch me? It was just probably Dagat, she probably caught me on time. Though my limbs didn't hurt, I felt the pain grow in my chest. Why was this happening? Ah! I said as I gasped for air. I felt the world spin around me, though I was unconscious and I was there alone in darkness. I could feel that I was getting dizzy. Was that even possible? The tightening around my chest got worse. This wasn't so good. I clutched my chest tightly, my face contorting at the pain I felt. And as if things couldn't get any worse, I felt a sudden jolt of pain in my back. It was like my skin was on fire, something was being engraved on me. "Ahhhhhhhh! Damn it!" I cursed as I felt the pain worsen. I felt like my chest was burning and my back was being skinned. I needed to wake up. I had to do something about this. But how? Every time I wake up I don't remember doing anything while I was unconscious, then at that moment, as the excruciating pain continued, I think I saw something on the edge of my vision. No, not something, it was someone! My eyes started to fill up with tears, the pain was becoming too much for me to handle! I don't think I'd be able to hold on to this much longer. Even so, I tried my best to blink away the tears and breathe as much as I could. I then saw the most handsome face I've ever seen. Even more gorgeous than the faces of the gods I've seen so far. Who was this guy? And why was he here? He was topless and was sitting on a black throne, he had an evil smirk on his face. Though his face was young and showed no sign of age his eyes showed otherwise. His eyes told stories of war, hatred, and anger. It had nothing but pure darkness His body was muscular, and was only wearing a black cape on his back and black furry shorts. He wore sandals for his feet. His neck was adorned with an ancient necklace with triangles for pendants. He had long black hair with white streaks. On his right hand, he holds a wooden staff that resembled the body of two twisted snakes. his whole being radiated a vibe of evilness "Ah you poor thing" he said, the evil smirk still on his face, and in the deepest voice I ever heard someone use. It was way deeper than the voice I expected him to have. "This was the prophesied kid to bring me to my death? You? Pathetic. Did the gods think I was fooling around?" He continued to say while shaking his heads to the sides disappointingly. He then looked at me, though I wanted to advert my gaze from him because I was scared I wouldn't let him know about that. This guy has nothing but evil vibes from him. No matter who or what he is I knew that he wasn't going to be one of the good guys. He was observing me from to bottom. "My very presence had you trembling in fear, and you couldn't even handle the weight of it as I saw how badly you choked. Mortals eh? Ever so dependent on oxygen," he said in an amused tone. Did he find this funny? If only I could move right now, I would've attacked him already. "W-who a-re y-you?" I managed to say though I hate that I stuttered. I really couldn't help myself. I was trembling so much. Nothing has ever caused this much fear in me before, this was absurd! I wasn't this scared when I faced the Bakunawa or when I battled with the dark nymphs! Who was this guy really? "I believe you already know who I am young demigod," I then remembered what Eas was telling me about before I passed out, was he who I think he is? That's impossible! Shouldn't he be unconscious or something? I thought they said he had only started to stir, he wasn't alive yet wasn't he? Though I was only saying these things in my head, it looked like I was being as transparent as ever. He smiled at me, " So you do know," I quickly shake my head in a disapproving notion, as if I was saying no. I couldn't really talk as I don't have enough air in me right now. "Oh but you do, little Xenosa. We'll meet each other again soon, I'm sure of it." He waves his hand again and I felt the entire lower portion of my legs to numb in pain! An invisible force had just hit it somehow! It was too fast even for my demigod senses to handle! I was in dip a*s trouble. "Hah they expect me to be defeated by the likes of you?" He started to talk again this time sounding smug as ever. If you guys are familiar with the phrase 'if look could kill' this guy would already be teen feet under now. But no matter how much I glared at him, I don't think it affected him. Nonetheless I think he found it amusing. "Anyway, I left a little present for you. I'm sure you'll hate it little one," he smiled and then vanished. And just like that pressing weight I had on my chest disappeared as well, I could still feel an enormous pain at my back but that was just the least of my concerns right now. Light then appeared from the far end of the void I was in. Finally, I was waking up. The next thing that I saw was Lady Eas, Nana, my parents and Cresia standing before. They all looked frantic and worried. "What happened?" those were the first words that came out of my mouth. Lady Eas was the one to answer, "We were training and you suddenly black out. We tried to bring you back with the basic herbs thinking you blacked out because of exhaustion but it wasn't working. So I had to bring your Nana here, your parents heard so they came here as well," Huh she said "your parents" I'm guessing she and the old man weren't in good terms, perhaps all the godly parents had this kind of problem. Were all of the gods shitty parents or was it just them? Maybe being parents aren't included in the 'How To Be A God" handbook of theirs. Nana was the next to speak, "You should be the one we should be asking that, you were muttering something in your sleep, it was someone name perhaps? Who was it Xen?" I looked over at Dagat and then at dad. Cresia was beside me, her eyes were puffy has she been crying this whole time? I swear this girl is the epitome of overreacting. I squeezed her hand letting her know that I was alright. "I think I saw him, I saw Sitan," the moment those words left my mouth their jaws fell to the ground. "How is that even possible?" I saw dad ask. He was looking at my mother who looked scared as hell. I mean she should be. "No that couldn't be true, he's still not conscious," Nana said. "I saw what I saw, he disapproved of me being the demigod destined to defeat him," I continued to say. "That sounds exactly like him," I hear dad mutter. I was about to sit up when I felt pain on my back again, "Aaaah!" I screamed yet again. This caused the people around me to be alarmed again, Lady Eas immediately took a look at my back. "S-she has wounds! How did this happen? You didn't even hit anything when you fell Xen!" she said her tone laced with concern. My mom was the one who answered, "It's him. I only know one creature in this entire realm able to wield this kind of power. Only Sitan, the Lord of Darkness. Oh gods he really is waking up!" she exclaimed as she broke down. Dad immediately comforted her. I turned to the side and saw Cresia frozen in fear I gave her a small smile trying to reassure her. "H-he did all this while still being unconscious and you know sleeping?" she said doubtfully. We all nodded at her direction. "Well that's just shitty" she muttered in a low voice. "I'm going to go and call the healers," Dagat said. A few moments later mom had already calmed down and dad was sitting quietly. Perhaps he was thinking about what he should do. A knock then came to the door. Nana opened it and three women wearing all white robes entered the room. They started to encircle the bed I was at and started to chant some spells. I could feel the pain on my back gradually disappearing. Soon enough, I let go a heavy breath of relief. Not a long while after, they stopped. "Our powers can only do so much against such darkness," they all said in unison as they bowed their heads at my direction. In return I also mimicked their movement. They also bowed their heads at dad directions he waved his hands and then they left. I attempted to sit up again and this time I only felt a small amount of pain. It was bearable. I then slowly stood up, I saw how the people in the room had worried looks on their faces while looking at me right now, but I was okay and I knew what I can and cannot do. I looked at the mirror and faced it at my back, I slowly lifted my stained shirt and saw this symbol Ω. I gasped, though the wound had dried it left a horrible scar. "The omega," I said to myself not expecting for anyone to hear what I just said. "He says it was a gift," I continued to say "what a terrible gift-er," I jokingly said. Trying to lift the mood. Sadly, it would take a lot more than that to ease the tension in this room. The door then opened to reveal my sister hurriedly entering the room. "Sorry I had to also take a look at the other demigod in the room beside this, he's not as injured and you. Thank the gods for th-" she stopped what she was about to say when she saw the omega mark I had on me. She then sprints to my direction and hugged me, okay not the reaction I expected. "I'm sorry you ha to go through all of this Xen, if only thing were different. You wouldn't have to bear the weight of his return," she says. Was she crying? I could hear tiny cracks on her voice, She broke free of the hug, I saw her face but there wasn't ant trace that she's been crying. My dad then hurriedly stoops, "Dagat we need to talk," he says as he stepped out of the room. Lady Eas, then followed. Mom soon came after that. I looked over at Cresia and saw that she was shocked, oh right I haven't told her about that yet. "I'll explain later, okay?" I mouthed at her. She nodded her head at me in response. "Would you girls care for some soup?" Nana said. Yep soup sounds great.
